What you will find in these guides

We write them from the questions we are asked every week during site visits and calls. They are not generic articles: they are based on real installations in Mallorca, the prices we actually quote and the regulations in force in the Balearic Islands.

• Real, all-inclusive prices: equipment, installation, grid registration, energy certificate and the IBI and ICIO tax rebate paperwork.
• FACTOR 2026 grants: who can apply and for what. Private homeowners, for batteries, EV chargers and heat pumps; companies and owners’ associations, for solar panels as well.
• Permits and special cases: fincas on rural land, apartment buildings and protected areas of the Serra de Tramuntana.
• Technical criteria to choose well: Fronius inverter or Enphase microinverters, which battery suits each home and when a Vaillant or Saunier Duval heat pump pays off.

Checked, up-to-date data

Solar yields come from PVGIS, the European Commission’s tool, calculated for every municipality on the island. Grants are based on the calls published in the BOIB (the official Balearic gazette) and prices on our own quotes. Each guide shows the date it was last reviewed, and we update it whenever grants, regulations or the market change.

If you still have questions about your own home afterwards, the best thing is to look at it together: every house, business or finca is different, and we would rather give you a specific answer than a general figure. We are happy to do it in English.
