Frequently asked questions
Are there grants for solar panels on my home in 2026?
No direct grant: FACTOR 2026 reserves it for businesses and owners’ associations. But a household can use the 50% Balearic income-tax deduction (up to €5,000 a year, income limits apply), the 40% state deduction and, in many municipalities, IBI and ICIO reductions. And there are grants for batteries, chargers and heat pumps.
Where does my town hall’s data come from?
From the tax by-laws published by each town hall, reviewed in September 2026. Where we could not confirm the by-law, we say so and check it for your case instead of giving you a figure.
Can all the grants be combined?
FACTOR grants, CAE certificates and municipal reductions can. The two income-tax deductions are separate measures, one national and one regional, and their compatibility is not regulated: check with your tax adviser.
