Tesla Powerwall 3: the all-in-one option

Powerwall 3 combines a 13.5 kWh battery and a solar inverter in one compact unit for indoor or outdoor use. It can be expanded for large homes or high evening use, such as homes with a heat pump or an EV.

As certified Tesla installers we design the complete system: sizing, backup panel, integration with your panels and app set-up.

Other batteries to suit your system

Not every installation needs the same battery. We choose the brand based on your existing inverter, power, space and budget:

  • Fronius Reserva: for Fronius GEN24 hybrid inverters, expandable in modules
  • BYD Battery-Box: modular and compatible with many hybrid inverters
  • Victron Energy: off-grid systems, rural fincas and bespoke projects
  • Enphase IQ Battery: for systems with Enphase microinverters

How we choose your battery

We start from your real evening consumption, your solar surplus and whether you want backup. We don’t oversize: a battery that doesn’t fill and empty daily takes longer to pay back. For businesses we also size for peak shaving.

Frequently asked questions

Which is better, Tesla or Fronius?

It depends on your system. If you already have a Fronius GEN24 hybrid inverter, the Fronius Reserva integrates directly; Powerwall 3 includes its own inverter and is a strong choice for new systems or retrofits. We recommend the right option after checking your installation.

Can I add a battery to my existing panels?

In most cases, yes. We check your inverter and propose the most efficient option: Powerwall 3, a battery compatible with your hybrid inverter (Fronius, BYD…) or a Victron system.

How long does a solar battery last?

Current lithium batteries carry manufacturer warranties of around 10 years (Tesla offers 10 years on the Powerwall 3), and their real service life is usually longer.

Does the battery work during a power cut?

Yes, if installed with backup. We agree with you which circuits are protected.
