How much does a solar system produce in Sóller?
According to the European Commission’s PVGIS tool, each south-facing kWp in Sóller produces around 1,367 kWh a year (13% less than Palma). The mountains cut some hours of sun, so a shading study of each roof is essential. The best month yields about 162 kWh per kWp and the weakest about 62 kWh.

Sóller: a valley ringed by mountains
Sóller is technically different from the rest of the island: the valley is enclosed by the Serra, so the sun rises later and sets earlier. Output per kWp is somewhat lower than on the south coast, and calculating it properly is what prevents promises that cannot be kept. We start from the PVGIS data for the municipality itself.
