No two roofs are the same. Before quoting we look at your bills, visit the property and study orientation, pitch, shading and the condition of the roof. With that we size the system so you make the most of every kWh, without oversizing just to sell more panels.
What solar panels cost in Mallorca in 2026
We work with fixed, all-inclusive prices: panels, inverter, mounting, protections, installation, grid registration, energy certificate and the tax rebate paperwork.
The price depends on the system size, the type of roof and the inverter. We give you a fixed, all-inclusive quote in writing after the free site survey, or you can get a first idea with our online solar study.
As a guide, installers in Mallorca advertise a 5 kWp home system, turnkey and VAT included, at €6,800–7,500 without a battery (October 2026): about €7,200 on average. Your own price depends on the equipment you choose and on your roof, and we give it to you as a fixed quote.
A final price with no surprises
We set the final figure after the free site survey, once we know your roof, your consumer unit and how you use energy. We would rather give you an exact, complete figure than a headline price that grows later with extras.
How much a system produces and saves in Mallorca
According to PVGIS, the European Commission’s tool, each well-oriented kWp produces between 1,350 and 1,590 kWh a year in Mallorca depending on the area; in Palma, about 1,575 kWh. A 5 kWp system generates around 7,800 kWh a year.
Your saving depends on how much of that you use as it is produced. With 50 % self-consumption, a tariff of €0.18/kWh and €0.06/kWh for exports, that system saves about €950 a year. With a pool, a heat pump, an electric car or a battery, both self-consumption and savings go up.
Grants and tax rebates in Mallorca
FACTOR 2026 grant from the Balearic government: it closed to applications on 17 October 2026 because its budget ran out. It did not cover solar panels on private homes, but it did cover batteries (45 % of the eligible cost), EV charging points (70 %, up to €2,500) and heat pumps (€700 per kW), and gave companies and owners’ associations between 40 % and 70 % for solar. If you already applied, we help you with the final paperwork.
Income-tax deductions (for Spanish taxpayers): on your main or rented home you can deduct 40 % of the investment (maximum base €7,500) if the work cuts non-renewable energy use by at least 30 % and is finished by 31 December 2026, and the Balearic Islands add a regional deduction of 50 % (up to €5,000 a year) with an income limit. The two do not add up: we tell you which suits you and issue the before-and-after energy certificates.
Town hall rebates: according to their bylaws, these 20 Mallorcan town halls reduce property tax (IBI) for several years and the building tax (ICIO) for self-consumption systems. We file the applications for you.

Fronius or Enphase: which suits you
The inverter is the heart of the system. We work with Fronius, an Austrian manufacturer with decades of experience, for its reliability, technical support and monitoring platform. The Fronius GEN24 hybrid inverters let you add batteries now or later and provide backup during power cuts. As certified installers, we offer a 10-year warranty on the Fronius inverter.
When the roof has shading, several orientations, or you want to expand gradually, we recommend Enphase microinverters: each panel works independently and the manufacturer gives a 25-year warranty.

Mallorcan roofs: each one needs its own solution
Arabic tile, flat roofs, pergolas and porches, town houses with narrow courtyards, fincas on rural land or homes by the sea: each case calls for different mounting and different paperwork. We use structures built for the wind and the salt air of the coast, and in protected areas or listed buildings we keep the system discreet and prepare the documentation the council requires.
Solar panels and a heat pump in the same home
In Sa Coma we installed the solar panels and, on the same roof, an 8 kW Vaillant aroTHERM plus heat pump that replaced an oil boiler. The panels produce electricity during the day and the heat pump uses it for heating and hot water, so part of that energy comes from your own roof.
