No two roofs are the same. Before quoting we look at your bills, visit the property and study orientation, pitch, shading and the condition of the roof. With that we size the system so you make the most of every kWh, without oversizing just to sell more panels.
What solar panels cost in Mallorca in 2026
We work with fixed, all-inclusive prices: panels, inverter, mounting, protections, installation, grid registration, energy certificate and the tax rebate paperwork. As a guide, excluding VAT:
- 3 kWp (7 panels): around €3,900 with Fronius · €4,500 with Enphase
- 5 kWp (11 panels): around €6,500 with Fronius · €7,500 with Enphase
- 8 kWp (18 panels): around €10,400 with Fronius · €12,000 with Enphase
- Battery: around €750 per kWh installed (a 13.5 kWh unit, about €10,125)
A final price with no surprises
We set the final figure after the free site survey, once we know your roof, your consumer unit and how you use energy. We would rather give you an exact, complete figure than a headline price that grows later with extras.
How much a system produces and saves in Mallorca
According to PVGIS, the European Commission’s tool, each well-oriented kWp produces between 1,350 and 1,590 kWh a year in Mallorca depending on the area; in Palma, about 1,575 kWh. A 5 kWp system generates around 7,800 kWh a year.
Your saving depends on how much of that you use as it is produced. With 50 % self-consumption, a tariff of €0.18/kWh and €0.06/kWh for exports, that system saves about €950 a year and pays for itself in around 7 years. With a pool, a heat pump, an electric car or a battery, both self-consumption and savings go up.
Grants and tax rebates in Mallorca
In 2026 the Balearic government’s FACTOR programme does not fund solar panels for private homes, but it does fund batteries (45 %), EV chargers (70 %) and heat pumps. Companies and owners’ associations do get solar grants, between 40 % and 70 %.
On top of that, many Mallorcan town halls reduce property tax (IBI) for several years and the building tax (ICIO) for self-consumption systems. The percentages vary from one municipality to another: we tell you which apply and file the applications for you.
Fronius or Enphase: which suits you
The inverter is the heart of the system. We work with Fronius, an Austrian manufacturer with decades of experience, for its reliability, technical support and monitoring platform. The Fronius GEN24 hybrid inverters let you add batteries now or later and provide backup during power cuts. As certified installers, we offer a 10-year warranty on the Fronius inverter.
When the roof has shading, several orientations, or you want to expand gradually, we recommend Enphase microinverters: each panel works independently and the manufacturer gives a 25-year warranty.

We use structures built for the wind and the salt air of the coast, and in protected areas or listed buildings we keep the system discreet and prepare the documentation the council requires.
